Many people believe that faith is a leap in the dark. They suppose that in the absence of any objective evidence we are left to simply trust that Christianity is true. They suggest that evidence that the Bible is reliable, that Jesus was a historical person is flimsy or worse, false.
This may legitimize scepticism, but is this a sustainable position?
