'I'm too bad.'
Some people have done things that have devastated other people's lives, and yet, if they were reminded of them, they do not even remember doing whatever it was. Other people have done things they cannot forget. If only they hadn't done it, said it, thought it.

What hope is there for anyone who has given up on themselves, others have given up on them, and they are thinking God must have given up on them long ago? This message is for you…

The problem with religion.
We are told that religion is the cause of all the wars in the world. This ignores the fact that in the 50 years that atheistic communism held sway more people were slaughtered by war, execution and oppression than in the preceding 1900 years.

But religion is a problem. It has a bad name. It has had a bad press. This message looks at the problem. Can there be such a thing as a genuine Christian and church that is more than a religious club?  

The answer to loneliness.
Man, we are told, is a social creature. We gather into groups. The family is the foundational group. But football crowds, a gang of louts in the street, a party, or a quiet meeting in the pub, are all expressions of that desire for friendship. These days, people form virtual' relationships.  They meet and even go on to marry after forming friendships over the internet.

Men and women and boys and girls are made for fellowship and friendship, but so many are lonely. What is the answer to it? Here is an answer.

Hope for the hopeless.
Discouragement, depression and despair are terrible feelings. To look back with regret, to look around with misery and to look ahead with no hope is a grim way to live.

The hope spoken of in the Bible is not a vague and general optimism, rather it is an assurance arising out of the God and our situations. Despair is not necessary. The way out is not to end it all, but to begin again, this time, with Christ as Saviour and Lord.
