How can I begin reading the Bible?
Setting out reading the Bible may feel a little daunting. After all, there are 1189 chapters in 66 books divided into two major parts called the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Why not start with reading and listening:
MarkTime is available as a book with CDs or to read and listen to online. Click to go to the website and set out reading through the life of Jesus Christ. Gerard Chrispin gives an explanation to help as you can both read and listen to the Bible passage and the thoughts that follow.
AMAZING ACTS is another website working section by section of the history of the first century from the time Jesus ascended into heaven. Once again, you will be able to work through the whole of the Bible book of the Acts of the Apostles while Gerard Chrispin gives a clear explanation of some of its meaning. Click to go to the website and read about how the Good News of Jesus death and resurrection changed individuals, families, and whole towns and cities.
