How can I get right with God?
There are Christians on all continents and countries, of all ages and of every status in life. God commands all people everywhere to repent (that is turn from sin), and to believe (that is to trust in Christ). As a person does this, he or she will discover that God has turned to them to cleanse them from every sin, come into their lives and become their companion for ever. A Christian, therefore, has trusted the crucified Christ as Saviour, and the risen Christ as Lord.
Will you now, in a definite and deliberate act,
confess your sin to God,
come to Him for forgiveness and new life,
commit yourself to Him,
crown Him as your Lord and Savour?
God will not only cast all your sins behind His back and remember them no more, but He will become your Friend, never to leave you or forsake you. He will be with you in life, in death and throughout eternity.
Jesus, ‘The one who comes to me I will by no means cast out’ – John 6:37
Read the story of one man and his family. His story is in the Bible in Acts 16. He asked the question, “What must I do to be saved?” You will see how the Christians answered him, and where it led. Was it genuine? Very soon after that a group of believers began to meet. They included a self-employed businesswoman named Lydia, along with others, and the local jailer and his family.
